I was nicely surprised when reading this book. I have to admit that the title initially put me off. Once I started reading it, however, I quickly found It one of the most enjoyable sales books I have read to date. Instead of it being full of pushy sales tricks, I found it full of practical sales tips including some quite advanced techniques.
The book is very comprehensive sales manual and covers the full gambit of sales from improving confidence and persistence to handling objections and closing. It even includes the use of storytelling in sales, a subject very close to my heart.
Despite being the biggest sales book on my shelf, at over 500 pages, each chapter is nice and short and can easily be read in a short sitting. With little effort, you could read a chapter in the morning and then spend the rest of the day putting the tips into practice.
Andrew draws on lots of personal experiences to illustrate his insights in a very engaging style. This is a sales book that any accidental sales person would feel comfortable reading.
