Hi my name is Richard White and welcome to my blog. I am the Accidental Salesman! I never intended to have a career in sales and like many business owners, fell into it by accident. When I first started in sales I hated it and, to be frank, I was pretty useless! I decided to get good at sales and was fortunate enough to get mentored by some people who were very successful at selling consultancy and services. I now spend much of my time helping business owners to make the transition into not only having to sell but also to build a high performing sales team.
Because I am not a ‘born salesman’ I understand sales reluctance and having overcome my own sales reluctance, I learned how to help others overcome sales reluctance too. There are lots of factors that can cause sales reluctance and people are rarely reluctant with the whole process of selling. I am excellent at helping people feel better about sales end I can even helping people develop business even though they hate selling!
